If you are still in the US at the moment, my advice would be for you to register with www.boligportal.dk now and start doing searches based on your requirements and contacting potential places. BTW, this will cost you 360kr to do but will give you access to the site for 2 months to contact potential landlords and for them to be able to contact you. Properties have started coming up for August so now is the time to start looking to secure a good property. Incidently, what area in Aarhus are you looking?
